The CLINIC FLOOR PLAN
- immediate need items - Bandages, ointments, etc. just grab and go. these are the omg it's an emergency and we need this asap shelf.
- shelves - the shelves are lined with Herbal Remedies in clay and metal jars. The shelves towards the 'surgical wing' hold the medical tools. The shelves by the dr's desk hold more medical references. Shelves in Apothecary - These hold various herbs, oils, and other ingredients housed in clay, metal or glass containers depending on reactivity. The shelves towards the brewing and distillation/extraction stations also hold various brewing equipment such as extra cauldrons/pots, stirring rods, various-sized bottles/jars, etc.
- Doctor's desk
- medical library
- surgical wing - a stone table surrounded by shelves of surgical tools
- recovery beds - for patients right out of surgery or who can't immediately go home
- refillable wash basin - for keeping shit clean, yo
- Cooler - A pit dug in the ground and lined with sand and concrete to keep things cool while keeping vermin out. A stone slab covers the pit.
- Brewing Station - Long table on which three small cauldrons can be set up at the same time. Situated near the window (spoilers: it's a hole in the wall) that's covered with a heavy curtain and shutters that can be opened/closed depending on the light sensitivity of whatever is being worked on at the moment.
- Clay Oven - used for heat sterilizing medical tools (and for heat in winter)
- Distillation/Extraction Station - A high bench with various tools for extraction, and eventual distillation, of essential oils. A refillable wash basin can also be found here.
- Large table on which to cut, crush, and otherwise prepare various herbs and ingredients. A large clay pot cooler sits below it to store heat-sensitive ingredients and/or medicinal brews. As time goes on, various plants and the like will be hung from the ceiling to dry.
